Who is NeoBook RAD5 For ?

Hi,

This is Robert Cohen, guy behind RCMedia Services. I've been in pro media for almost 30 years. Making a living on line is both my vocation and my hobby. I consider myself lucky to be able to enjoy what I do.

I began to want to market things that I could sell on line, and with nothing but bandwidth as my "business expense" ... and then a friend of mine showed me NeoBook. That was about five years ago.

So, WHO is NeoBook RAD5 For ?

I get asked this question a lot because I make mention of it everywhere I can. Why shouldn't I? It changed how I do business on line. I've been a host and Web service for more than ten years, but I'm a retired visual arts guy.... you know, Photographer / Video Production / 3D Graphics and Animation... and a some years ago the digital revolution combined with this "recession" we're in was starting to redefine "starving artist".

What I learned to accomplish in less than a month using this most incredible find was eye opening to say the least. I had completely earned back the cost of NeoBook, by taking on a side job while learning it, and in less than one month. It was a simple custom database project that I probably should have charged more for.

Since that point I've released dozens of niche software titles, but here's the kicker. I use NeoBook for personal, "in-house" projects in the course of doing business FAR MORE than in creating my freeware and shareware. There hasn't been a single automated system that I haven't been able to create with NeoBook. I check the freeware sources and if they don't have what I am at that moment needing... I code my own in as little as a day. I know this sounds totally crazy, but those who think I'm "market talkin" for the sake of a sale, just TRY the 30 day Trial. If a person honestly reads the help file and tutorials (not very big at all), they will find that they can code something useful in their first week of use. NeoBook is honestly the most FUN and PRODUCTIVE software I own, hands down.

Here are some things I've come to realize since coding freeware and shareware. Nothing, and I do mean nothing... is quite as cost effective at driving traffic to a web site, than to create a freeware that links back to their site. The process of submitting your software to the software archives is like having hundreds of sites on line who are all handing out your digital "business card". Even better... after the software is designed and released, the same effort will keep on paying you with traffic for as long as the software remains available... NO extra work !! And from software you can also link to affiliate programs and turn freeware into cash machines simply by employing the right links :>>

Educators can create customized tools including full quiz systems.

On Line Marketers can create slick catalogs for download.

E-Book creators can publish their works along with a custom built license and registration system.

You can code quite complex applications using NeoBook's totally amazing Wizard driven syntax system. And the NeoBook debugger makes finding and fixing errors a walk in the park. The possiblities are quite literally endless.

Five years ago was the very first time I had ever considered authoring Windows software and applications. Before that I was using computers for something completely other. And I can honestly say that what I do NOW, allows me to make a better living than what I was doing before. And in fact, because of NeoBook's extensive handling of most media types, I can now incorporate all of my prior skill sets under one roof. No matter what I do now that involves media, I can now extend it's use with the dynamic power of coding using NeoBook.

I would absolutely urge anyone out there looking for a change in vocation, or at least an addition to their current vocation, to take a serious look at NeoBook RAD5. Peter and I set up this NeoBook marketing project not JUST to profit, but mainly to share this most incredible software with others. I have personally shown NeoBook to my friends and associates, and their reactions after realizing just what a gem NeoBook is always makes my day. And when they build their first application I always get an email or call showcasing their excitment in the FUN they considered the process. So, if you are one of those who easily bore with vocational activity, then this software might bring a smile to your face. It's easy enough for most anyone to learn, but it is in no way limited to simple projects. You will never bore with a "ceiling" of possibilities.

So, WHO is NeoBook RAD5 for ? I'd have to say just about anyone who owns a PC they wish to put to work. If you can't find what you're looking for ... BUILD IT !!

What is NeoBook?

We get asked this a lot. I'm hoping to change that. So this is like a testimonial from someone who makes a living using NeoBook RAD5. Me.

NeoBook RAD5 is the best kept secret in the world of rapid application builders. And just because you haven't heard of it, doesn't mean it can't stand up to the big boys. C++ or Delphi it's not, but it's quite capable of turning out impressive ebooks, presentations, ezines, catalogs, greeting cards, games, browsers, kiosks, utilities, and yes, even full blown windows applications. Whether it be a simple utility, or a full blown custom audio player or database driven application, NeoBook shines.

It's easy to do. AND fun. Watching your application grow is a feeling of accomplishment. Being able to combine multimedia, images, text, video, audio to make useful applications with little or no programming skills in a user friendly environment is the best thing that happened to coding.

It's also a great way to provide a side income. Whether you develop shareware and put it up for sale, or custom program for others, NeoBook gives you the tools to do it. And it's not only great for beginners. Advanced programmers will appreciate it's power. Extend it's horsepower with javascript or vbscript. Take it to the max with free and commercial plugins that put it on steroids.

Did I mention is was FUN to use? It IS because it's not a CHORE to use or learn. No staring at a blank page, waiting for you to type the extensive code necessary to develop the typical application. Instead, you start drawing things. Buttons, images and some text. Then you select from hundreds of actions to assign to the objects you created, fill in the blanks, and you're done. You can compile it into an exe file. Royalty free.

Once you learn your way around in NeoBook, then the fun really begins. You will by then know the power that lays at your fingertips. I spent my first week with NeoBook making ridiculous utilities for myself. Just to see what I could make it do while I learned my way around. I didn't care what they looked like. So long as they worked. And work they did. String manipulators, database apps, ebooks, image viewers, they began rolling out left and right.

I had only been into NeoBook for a month or so, when someone I knew needed an application that would generate html templates to paste into Ebay Turbolister. Back then there were few eBay services like today. He put up a lot of auctions and he wanted to be able to fill in the blanks, select his images, click generate, and paste the html into TurboLister. Since NeoBook has extensive html capabilities, I told him I could do it, and got the job. 2 weeks later (Hay! I was still learning!), I had an application delivered to him. He paid me $600, and I was INSTANTLY sold on NeoBook's commercial capabilities.

I began to develop more shareware titles, and began selling them on my web site, highdesertsoftware.com. I picked up more custom jobs, all the while being continually impressed with what I could develop with this software. I visited the NeoBook Support forum regularly, and found it to be a gold mine of help and information. None of my posts were ever left unanswered, and usually within an hour or two I had help. Important when you're serious about learning something. Now I have 13 shareware titles developed, as well as numerous freeware titles.

NeoBook changed my life. I can now work at home and be my own boss. And I work IT, it doesn't work me. AND, now when someone offers me a couple grand to code an application, I think "What? You wanna PAY me to do that?" "Are you crazy? I'd do it for free!" Never mind. Can't make a living that way. But you get my meaning.

Hay. Don't take my word for it. Download the trial and try it for yourself. You've got nothing to lose but a little time. And when you see what power it has, then come to ClickCoders and get it cheaper than anywhere on the web. Plus all the ClickCoding help you can handle. Use it's power wisely, and you will return your investment in no time.

Man, there just ain't nothin' better. Happy coding.

BilleniumSoft Transitions Plugin Released

NeoBook includes several transition effects, but now you can get an extensive collection of professional transitions at a very affordable price: Billenium Transitions for NeoBook RAD5.

There are 17 different families of transitions, most of them with several variations so you get hundreds of effects. In fact, by using the 'Bitmap mask' transition you are only limited by your imagination as you can design your own effects. Full timing support (in milliseconds) allows you to obtain the same effect duration in any computer.

Our transitions have been extensively tested on thousands of computers worldwide. They are reliable and fast enough for use in not so powerful computers. What's more, they don't use DirectX or OpenGL so you can be confident that no driver or hardware problems will arise on your users computers.

Easy of use is one of our main goals. We provide a nice visual editor which can show a preview of the effect. Given the great number of parameters and variations we provide, this can save a lot of time if you are a perfectionist. What's more, you can change the transition kind (for example from a 'Roll' to a 'Page') without leaving the editor.
